Love Letter

A tiny, blank scrap of paper is my most cherished love letter. My five-year-old left it in my book, marking my page for me. I had stranded the book on the bathroom floor, surrounded by bath toys and Q-Tips and soap bottles. If you want five minutes to read, letting a one-year-old dump out everything in a cabinet can be your best option. If you are lucky, you have a special first born who will put those toys and bottles and Q-Tips away so you can put out a different fire. He doesn’t need words to send the kindest message.
