The Amazing Monkey

“There was this thing where all the animals in the world were gathered up to see who could climb a tree the fastest. Every animal was there. There was a fish in a bowl and a crocodile and then, there was this monkey. And they said ‘Here, who can climb the tree the fastest?’ and the monkey was unreal at climbing trees. He went up the tree. He went down the tree. Oh my god, he was so good at climbing trees. I’d like to have a monkey as a pet. I like monkeys.” —My sister’s attempt at comforting me.
