Your Fool

It is so easy for me to love you and to show you that side of me, but you walk away like I never mattered. Did we mean nothing? Did I imagine all of those affectionate times, when it seemed like I was your world? I don’t want to beg you or chase you, but my days are so lonely. I know you’re out there having adventures with friends while I sit here alone. I will shake these cat treats one more time. If you don’t return this time, then THAT’S IT! I’ll wait one more hour to try again.
